I love exercise and I love sharing my passion for it with others.
Exercise can do wonders for people: not just physically but mentally as well. I’ve seen the rise in confidence as people have taken control of their bodies and learned new skills.
A keen cyclist, I’ve run for around 17 years in one form or another, including leading group runs with East London’s Good Gym and training with the ‘Elite’ runners at Run Dem Crew. I’ve written for Runner’s World since 2008 and ran from one end of Germany to the other in a relay.
But everything is relative: it’s not really about how far or how fast we go; it’s about how hard we try. Because the first move is always the hardest bit: just by booking that session you’re already streets ahead. I get my biggest buzz not from breaking my own records but from from seeing clients break new ground.
